I have the same problem but I have the e153. 1st to second shifts fine under normal acceleration but hard acceleration grinds. Do you have a short shifter?

St205 is the chassis code not the engine, the newest gt4's were st205's with 3rd gen 3sgte's.

Sorry but there is no such thing as 6th gen 3sgte. Do you mean a 3rd gen 3sgte, the 3rd gen is what is in the st205. 2nd gens are in st185/5th gen celica.

Run the stock DP for now until you can afford a good one. I run 3" all the way back no cat, no resonator and just a muffler. Not sure what my flex pipe is though.
