Yeah you might be able to beat it stock.......off the line (and that depends on the driver, reaction time...etc), but dont expect much more than that. I think stock the gt has 135 (to the crank), but...

I never took mine off. And it works just fine, as the EL ( i dont know what you have exactly) is just an overlay.

Dead Pedal. I use a fat standard screwdriver to twist the "screw" part, then pull it. But mostly when Im in a hurry I just "pop" it out.
