well i don't think its your starter cause if it was your car wouldn't have just turned off while it was on.. it could be your alternator...it could be a bad ground wire over even a dead battery.....or...

I just went and filled up on my lunch brake 3.73/gal
30 bucks .. damn i remeber when i frist got my DL gas was 1.01/Gal that was super and i filled my tank for 10 bucks..
