find an amp that puts out the same amount of RMS watts as your subs have.
for example if you have 2 10" subs that are 100 watts RMS each then you would want an amp that is 200 watts RMS.

dont get a universal because they dont last long (about a year) and the only reason the shop told you to put in the o2 sensors as well is because that is the "easy" way for them to fix the check engin...
