Hm... I was just assuming it was a diode. The location on the PCB is labeled D1. There are others labeled R1, R2... (resistors), and others labeled C1, C2... (capacitors). I guess I should have stayed...

Just for your reference, I wired my gauges into a green wire on one of the plugs that connect to the back of the cluster. I think it was on the middle plug. Just use the same method you did before.
