Did you try a tune up, and checking if the AFM is in good condition? AFM might explain why you run so rich.. Or the charcoal canister might need to be cleaned or replaced..

I use Mobil1 oil filter. I like it, because it seems to free up some horsepower.. But it could be just my mind playing tricks on me. I heard that castrol oil filters will put bad films on the engine...
