The steering knuckle is cast iron....its HIGHLY unlikely that they are "bent"
If anything you probably messed up the carrier or you messed up the brake install.
go back and recheck all your work.

option 3 is the most restrictive more than likely

a breather filter and plugging the TB side will be ok and won't do anything bad, its considered an older method now a days but it works.
