an update....
replaced the EGR modulator and fault still tripped, so I was able to return the modulator and replaced the EGR valve with a new one. Fault still tripped....any other places I could look...

the last couple times I connected the tester, only the EGR was flashing...
I already took my egr valve out and dunked in my solvent tank at work and tried to scrub out the inside...but I guess it didn...

Picked up a scanner the other day to start fixing the last big problem on the car.
