No. You can't just adjust it. If your shoes are worn out your brakes won't work. Just like your pads. If they wear out they don't work. Then you risk damaging your disc's and your calipers.

I'll take some pics tomorrow of my GT. Yes, it is a GT and it does have 4 wheel disc brakes. But it also has, what looks to me, drum brakes. Now, if its called something else please do let me know....
