tap it with a dead blow hammer to get it free of interior rust. then use a flat screw driver to guide it off of the crank shaft

... The newer rod with no pistons is from a performance engine. the 7afe unit is oil baked in that picture.

The greenlooks fine to me, you just turn the dimmer down. Also, my gas gauge stuch also, I re-glued the gauges though and it worked.

Also, on mine it was rev-governed at 2500 rpms until it got up to 200 degrees with the engine. Maybe it was cold. And my 86 scared the hell out of me as far as speed goes.

On an automatic transmission (which I have) a neutral drop is pure stupid! Just power brake it a little (2500k) and you're good.
My first car was a 1986 corvette. It had about 225hp and 330 Ft...
