Thanks for all the responses. I see both sides on this. Doesn't seem to hurt to blur your plates but if someone wants to f you over....well they'll figure out a way to do it

Get a resonator...it will help muffle the sound if it's an issue.

A few things to consider when choosing stainless :
1. It's heavier than aluminum piping
2. It's hardier to weld
3. It's more expensive
Not sure if these are concerns but something worth noting.
