thanks guys, well it has already become a project, as u can see, i've put 2k into her so far just in parts, but she handles like a dream and now gets 39.5 mpg. so i cnt complain, but as for a 3s swap....

yes there are resonators like that, blame it on gm, and nissan, some of there vehicles do have resonators like that, not mufflers

having a res. will give less performance than a sraight pipe, but it will not make a huge impact on performance either way if its a straight through design, and will sound MUCH better.

if u have your stock res, then u dnt need another one, the best way to get a deeper exhaust note is to replace your stock resonator with say a magnaflow one, that will almost kill all your tinny sound...

the blue circle is the low pressure fitting, the high pressure fitting should be on the smaller line around the front of the car, just trace that little line down, and u will find that other fitting

the fat a/c line is the low pressure, and the small a/c line is the high pressure, just look around, just follow the lines till u find anouther fitting that looks like the one u found already.
