I'd say start with measuring from the center of the big hole on each strut tower to the latch. Doing that on both sides. It's the most simple thing to measure.

Is your rear end too far forward?
I only ask because I know Malek's is a true GT4 and it doesn't seem like the wheels are as off center.

I read it was just the speed signal. No need for any steering sensor. I looked into it and found plenty of writeups that make no mention of a steering wheel sensor

It starts when your distributor is pulled? That doesn't make sense, it wouldn't get any spark I you didn't have it in there.

And if you guys don't know how to read up on stuff, the 5sfe has a stronger crank than the 3sgte. Which is why it can handle the pulley.
