That's weird... I had two glow gauges and both had dimmer??? see:
maximum bright...
minimum bright... (needles are the same bright in both pictures of course because they have own dimer)

Your only forgetting one thing Martin. USDM Celica's dont have the Gaugecluster dim knob. So I dont think it would work.
