Shave it, shave it all, there is so much they put on cars that you can take off.
I shaved side markers, 3rd brake light, rear wiper, all 3 squiters, antenna, and unbolted the front wipers.

Depends on rim size, and how much comfort while driving you want.
I ride 19"s 225/35-19 the ride pretty much sucks, handles great in the corners, plus not that many people ride 19"s.
