Have you checked your transmission fluid? It does go through the torque converter, ya know.. Otherthan that, you can always try popping off the vacuum tube to your IAC, so it idles at 1500RPMs..

Check your resonator, see if all of the intake pipings are connected.. While you are at it, take the resonator out anyways.. Oh yeah.. Check the intake piping where it connects to throttle plate too....
