From what I know, to import a car from Japan, it has to be 15 yrs of age or older, AND its legal to have RHD except you have to have the registration papers and everything if a cop ever pulls you over...

well you'll have to go to a transmission shop and have them take out your entire transmission to get to your synchros, and yes it has to do with your gearing obviously because its how your gears synch...

Your synchro is worn in ur 2nd gear---2nd and 3rd gears are the most used gears so they will be the first of the 5 to start wearing out. Thats my 2 cents...
