What boost numbers are you looking for? Is this a stock 7a engine? if so, a fuel rail is the last thing you need to worry about.

what, on a 5sfe? You're not going to be reving high enough for it to matter. All the stiffer springs (which you probably can't find) will do is make it physically harder for your engine to run, thus...

175hp stock (I hope) from the AE101 Levin I'd think. With a pulley you can bring power up to around 200 at the crank. Or am I mistaken?

yea, but those were the girl camaros, not the yenko. I am fairly sure the Yenko was a 427. The SS was a 396 and the race ready Z28 was a 327.

agreed. the 300GT, 300ZXTT, RX7, and SupraTT all fought it out back in the mid 90's for the ultimate import supercar. The celicas just aren't in the hunt.

I hate 3000's. They cannot be major performance cars because of the weight issue. I have heard that the VR-4 conv. weighs in at over 4000lbs! You cannot corner with that.

stock tranny is supposedly good for 200whp. However, I think Frotou was pushing 240whp with the stock tranny and upgraded clutch. Nik is also about to test it's limits... unless he went with a GZE t...

how about go to www.club4ag.com and buy a smallport head and intake manifold off of one of them. Kwanza could probably get you one also... he seems to be able to get most anything.

not necessarily... you could have the 7afe ECU re-programed to work a 4ag, but the far less sophisticated answer is the stand alone\ecu swap.
