I do have a 1MZ swap in my MR2. I've also driven a BEAMs MR2. It's NOT a bad engine. It's fun. Just no torque. Reminds me of a Honda engine.

I drive my 1MZ swap daily 130 miles. It makes for a much better DD. I get 30+ MPG
All this debate is silly. A 1MZ makes more power and torque than a BEAMs.

The blacktop 3sge is so freakin rare, you can't even get info for that thing. From what i've seen so far though, it's a good motor. But I guess since i've owned a 2zz celica.. I'm addicted to Lift hah...
