Unbolt/disconnect all wires that connect to the tranny... there are a few... remove both front wheels, pull out hub pins, remove axles from hubs, be careful not to "break" axl...

Waste gas...but they wouldn't really do that either. The stock ECU will only allow to inject enough fuel as needed...just because you have larger injectors doesn't mean it's gonna spit more fuel...
