The noise doesn't happen when I'm driving around, only when I'm actually braking. I hear a rubbing, grinding noise as the car slows, and it stops as soon as the car does.

I'd be careful. The pic is definitely not a 6th gen hood. It looks like the hood for the RSX shown further down the page, or perhaps a 7th gen, like Sh0gunkid8721 said.
