well the part inside wears like the valve guid bushing..once you've done that already, you would want to get it decked, have the valve cut that way it'll seal properly. just so it can be back like new...

i have a freshly rebuilt cylinder head by a local shop called dynicron cylinder head. it has been resurfaced,valves and valve seats has been cut,installed new valve guide bushing, new valve stem seals...
