i would suggest powdercoating them... get them sandblasted and then sand them down so there are no scratches then get them powdercoated so much better.

ya very simple to do... the backs are a bit tricky.... i had to use an air gun that was the only piece of machinery i didnt have and i rented a spring compressor for cheap.... takes about a good two...
