you can screw it to the wall and cover the screw heads with hot glue this will prevent air leakages. I think that is what I am going to when I am finnished with mine.

fiberglass them to the side of your trunk. Looks better that anything madeout of wood(MDF).
I am doing now and have a blast it is easyer than you think and alot cheaper too.

That sounds reasonable but make sure they r very good at putting on a clear coat because you can best paint job in the would but if the clear coats sucks it will look like s***.

you could start by looking on ebay for some racing seats there are some black and grey ones on there very nice. Then after that do it one peice at a time.
