In the UK the law states that HID's are only legal when you have self levelling light units. I've had mine for 2 years now, no problem. As long as they are correctly aligned I don't see a problem.

Going off the top of my head here. The sensor @ No3 cylinder will be the knock sensor. Not sure about the other, haven't worked on a 5sfe.
