upps my fault - i was thinking of the new MR2s weight (1085 kg). you are right 1250 kg is the weight of the old MR2 SW20...
damn - so what makes the SW20 so heavy???

well my car is about 1540 kg incl. 1/2" fuel and drivers weight 82 kg.
