Have a simple question.

I have '95 Gen6 japanese import.
Whether i have Aircon or Economy on, there is only hot and cold air. It either gets too hot or too cold. There is no intermediate temperatures.
It goes hot or cold at around 1/4 on and no matter what setting i put on or what air flow etc all i get is very hot or very cold.

Its a bit fustrating on a journey as you are forever turning the temperature to hot and then cold and then hot again every 5 minutes.

Any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

It's OK, we found the problem...there is a theromstat device behind the console.
(bit of metal that expands when you turn the temperature knob)

Looked like there was a bit of corrosion on it which affected the contact points! >>
I replaced this and it's working again!
