Ive done all this before and i install systems an all, but really iv never messed with component's... so i wanted to know what i could do or any info i guess will help thanks..

yes first get an amplifier, then look into getting a better head unit, what are you using currently?

what is your RCA output voltage level to your woofer amp? oh, and how many RCAs do you have?
some components such as mb quart need to be run in 6 ohm loading they have to wired up in a specific way into the crossover unit. they will sound like **** if they are not set on the right load level in the crossover itself. check to make sure that the components are run in the proper ohm level. just speaking from personal expeirience.
