For some reason, when im in first gear taking off, the car really lugs down and doesnt move, then when I hit aroung 3K Rpm, then it suddenly takes off with speed. I changed the distributor and wires, but it didnt really help. what could be the problem? Oh yea the part of metal behing the back bumper makes a clunking noise everytime oI go over a bump, like its not on securly, its annoying. can i fix this myself??

it could be you air filter is not on right or coming off.. your gas filter is another thing.. just some thoughts
