So, I ask this. Is it really getting the 3S-GTE swap (instead of a 5S-FE?)

What do you think? performance wise? etc etc.

If you have the resources availible then why wouldn't you want the extra power. If you can control yourself and keep the boost at stock levels, then I imagine that you'd be able to make a reliable engine. The only reason why I would think that you wouldn't want it is if your car is your dedicated daily driver. In that case, you might want to go for something that is more reliable to be sure that you have a ride from day to day.

yes, it is worth it. but if you still got that mkiv supra you might as well stick to that for your performance fix. >>

Ummm lets just say I took my mr-2 out the other day for a joy ride and had a perma smile all day, it flyyysssss, and Im sure the celica would be the same experience. >>

It's not worth it.

It was the biggest pain in the a$$ i've ever experienced. Over a year and a half of frustration.
