When i wired up my HU, i also wired the dimmer. The problem is that when i turn the dimmer up, the HU lights get dimmer,... and when i turn the dimmer down, the HU gets brighter while the dash lights get dimmer (except if its turned all the way over, then everythings bright). Is there a fix?

So ur HU is on the same dimmer as your dash lights? Sounds like you may need two separate dimmers. I dont know why it would be doing that though. It doesnt make sense b/c as long as its wired up correctly all the dimmer does is control the amount of current going to the lights. All I can think of is that it may somehow be diverting the unused current to the HU when you turn down the dash lights, kind of like it does w/ the lights on the AC controls.
