Hey Guy's haven't been around 6gc for a while but it wasn't intentional, been caught up in personal things.
Anyways just wanted to know if you have a recommendation on fuel/Octane booster juice. Any brands you can recommend or maybe your a bit of a boffin
and make up your own stuff. Most stuff I see is methanol based, I'm thinking
of running the car on a fuel closer to 98-100 Ron. Most jap cars are mapped to
run on the higher grade stuff and my car ran so smooth when using octane booster I thought I had stepped into a £50K supercar.
Has to be CAT friendly (yeah I still got my CAT!). Any suggestions appreciated -

I just use Shell Optimax... no issues.

Whats the Ron rating on Optimax?
Fuel additives are available off scoobynet which will raise super unleaded
up to 100 Ron and treat 2 full tanks at a fraction of the price.. never tried
optimax though...

I use NOS octane boost and i'm happy with it, but i don't have much to compare to

I mix 91 octane (R+M/2) pump gas with 103 octane (R+M/2) unleaded that I have.

If you are trying to hit 100 RON... shouldn't be too hard. That's about what, 95 octane?

i go down to the gas station and get 115 octane:D

Shell Optimax in the uk is 98.5 Ron
