Weapon-R or Injen intake system - 6G Celicas Forums
I'm a big fan of the one I bought off 95CelGT. He makes them. They are top notch.

weapon r definatly has a better sound, and from what i remember its cheaper than the injen...with injen you get just about the same performance but your paying for the name...i have the weapon r with the ram air induction system that i bought as an add on to the intake
the weapon-r filter is useless. support the fabricators on this site and buy from speedtoe or 95celgt. you'll get just as good a product for half the price, not to mention a K&N to go along with it.
not to bust any of ya'lls balls, but an intake is an intake, depending on were you locate it , it might sound dif.. theres no dif... its a metal tube... also any filter will really work, theres no need to speed umm.. 45 bucks on a k&n..

Either make your own or support the makers on the site. I have been told by everyone that has purchased from them that the products are top notch.

evilspeed/spedtoe's stuff is only for the ST model, mines the 5S-FE engine.
check this guy's out...the s shaped one is almost exactly like my injen, other than the 3" piping link to intake

Who all has spedtoe's? and how much was it someone pm me
i have a weapon R and its sounds really good. i like it
I thought there was a guy on here that made them for the GT... I'm not sure though.
IMO, foam filter elements are bad. Replacing the foam gets expensive, if you can't reuse the element. Not to mention that certain foam elements use fairly large openings to allow for more flow at the expense of filtration (HKS TRF). I've heard of too many coming apart in intakes to ever use one on my car, even if the evidence is anecdotal at best. K&N is the best compromise for me of filtration, flow, and maintenence.
I'd like to know what the A'Pexi intakes are made of, they seem to be some material that never needs cleaning, and flow well too.
