i though its like 40-50% although i do no have one... I was kinda thinking that you might as wel save your 160-180 bucks.. or shifters are not bad at all, compared to some of my friends cars... also they can screw up your sinq... an its a lot of freaking money.
Short throw reduces the shift length by 40-50%, it is not a 40-50% decrease in shifter length. I don't have one either (YET!) but I think you're pretty close Mac.

actaully mac, theyre not even that much shorter i think. i have the trd quickshifter, is not made to be a "shorter" shifter, its made to shorten the throw between shifts, and does so QUITE well.. >>

if you compare the two, they are vituallly the same length. they are ANGELED diffrently which shortens the throw between shifts. the bottom half of the shifter rod has more angle to it. thats what i am talking about. >>

thanks pressure. That actually cleared up alot of things. I didn't think a "short shifter" was just shorter but my friends insisted. My buddy shortened his talon's shifter by cutting and it was sh!t afterward. I could hardly put it into 5th without using the palm of my hand. But the TRD angled short shifter sounds like the way to go.
