Buying new car - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #11162 18 posts Started by belizecelica
Hey guys, i wrecked my 6gc a few weeks back, now im in the market for a car, but since im broke now, i need something cheap. There is a red 5gc ST for sale close by me for aroubd 2K, i was wondering what engine it has? Is the engine as powerful as a 6gc? is this car fast? Also, i might ivest the extar money and get a 95 prelude. I have to make a decision, advice please...
Take out a loan and buy a GSR(Integra) or GS-T(Eclipse) you'll find the $$$ isnt all that bad, I were to buy a car again thats what I would have done.

it has a 4afe ... wich is a bit slower then the 7afe.. if you can hold on a bit longer you might be able to find a 6gc... if not don't kill me know guys.. a 92 civic.. they are cheap and fun to tune..

go for the 95 prelude
great cars
The prelude might be a little more costly than what i was planning to buy, and if i get the 5gc at leas i will keep it in the celica family. After once owning a 4th gen, ifell in love with the celica, but what after doing some research, i wonder why TOYOTA chose to decrease the power in the 5th and 6th gen celicas??
if ure gonna buy other than a celica go for an eclipse gsx those arent that expensive and theyre faster than our cars i like the eclipses
are the eclipses good cars? How about nissan? are they better or equal to Toyota in durability??
Guys im really considering this 5th gen 5th gen tell me what you think, is it worth it? miles are a bit high but it sounds as if it has been well maintained
looks good.. but see if you could take something off the price... but still a good buy..
