I was thiking about getting two 12" audibahn subs. If you wanted a very nice soundsystem I assume that two running off a 1100 watt amp which is half the possible rms for these subs is better then one running off the max 1100 watts in cleanliness of the hit correct? Also, I know everyone says a good amp is critcial... so if I wanted 1100 - 2200 rms out of an amp... I assume the legacy amps off ebay are junk, so what type would you all look at for cost vs preformance. I dont NEED To blow the socks off everyone, I just want to have a real clean system, and I kinda want to blow off socks if im in the mood >> Thanks

So your subs are 1100w rms right? A-bahns have overrated RMS, I'd throw 750w to each of them and call it a day. What impedence are they? I'g go with a Hifonics bx1500d

Hifonics are good for the money. Solid amps, decent quality.

Profile is not CRAP, for the price you pay, you get decent shlt, they do rated power. Thats crazy putting profile on the same level as legacy/jensen

What model are your A-bahns?

KICKER is NOT overrated....there amps are underrated, subs the same....

I am going to have to sat that they are profile burn out way to easily I have seen a dozen times.

I would also look at the Audiobahn AW1200Q subs. I know for a fact that they hit very well in a 1.25cubic ft per sub sealed enclosure in the celica Then you can run the A1300HCT to power them or the A12001DT. Sorry I'm only mentioning Audiobahn amps but hey its where I work. I get to test our products in my car all the time. But I have installed other equipent when I was working for a shop be for I came to work for Audiobahn.

If your going audiobahn, go ported. A-bahns get loud, but sound like donkey doo doo. They shine ported.......that is, if you have the space.
