Today I was bored and felt like working on the car, so I put a GT-Four-style grill in the front bumper, and I think it came out ok. It sure looks a lot better than the massive spider-web cracks that filled that area of my bumper. >>

Total cost was $1.07, and that was for the four feet of 3/16" rubber line that I cut a slit in to outline the cut out area. I got the mesh grill from my mechanic for free. >>

Hmmm i think I need to see it at more angles, and with the holes from your emblem fixed up. Looks good though man! You got BALLS to be cutting up your bumper! >>

i wanted to do something kinda like that when i get my invader bumper.... i wanted to like fabricate like that thing that the 7gc's have on the front, that little cuttout thing with the toyota emblem in it, but i realized id mess it up...

at first I thought it was a sticker >> It is a great idea and with a little work this could be a great great thing. I was thinking of something pre-made so you can just cut and slide it in. Something that would give it more of an indented look like the GT4s.

Yeah need more pics to judge it properly.. looks kinda top-heavy from those angles! I'd try to find some gunmetal spraypaint that matches the rims too because the mesh colour doesn't look like it matches anything else on your car, but that's just me

looks great. I thought it was photoshop'd at first.

altho I agree it looks a bit top heavy, with the toyota emblem on there I bet it lessens that effect. overall some nice work >>

you could just buy the gt4 bumper grill from toyota. its about 30$. then try to put that in there.

IMO, I not very fond of the grill. However, I'm not fond of the GT4 bumper either... but I applaud you for your work. You do have skills. Post a picture with the T and it might sway my opinion. Now all to make is a coffee resistant interior >> .

coomer ure brave for doing this ive been thinkin of how would gt four front grille would look in 94 95 bumper but to scared that i might not like it
