Fog lights - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #11605 6 posts Started by ShadowFX
i know this is porobably been asked before but i cant find any old posts that explain it, i want to put fogs on my st, do i fit them onto the front bumper where there's a hole? and are they H3 type?
the 96 and up had the different front bumper, and there is a spot for them there. if you have fogs for your 94 then you have to find a new place for them. i would suggest drilling into the actual bumper ( the metal one), and just mount them underneath, where the opening in the bumper cover is.
thats what i would do anyways, im not sure if the 94 and 95 came with factory fogs.
On my 94, theres already a hole in the metal bumper, would that be for the fogs (hole is on the ends of the gap in the front kit).. ??? and also, theres a plug that I'm guessing is for the fogs.. am I right? (its white, squarish plug about 1-2cm wide)... do H3 bulbs plug straight into this or do i have to wire them on?
I havent noticed either of those... i just had my bumper off, and the only plugs i noticed were for lights, brights, corners, and side markers. the side marker light plugs were white, i think the rest were brown. not positive about holes already there, i think all mine had screws (or something else to hold the bumper up) in them.

hmm.. i'll take a pic later when the car is at home.. because our celi was bought 2nd hand, could the fogs have been taken off? what does the plug for a fog (H3?) look like so i can compare it to the plug thats already there?
Hey. I installed some KC Hilites fog/driving lights.

I did a how-to on installing aftermarket fog lights on 94-95 celicas. For whatever reason, coomer didn't want it. I still have the pics I used for it (including some of my fuse-box wiring to get them to go off with the headlights. If you have any question email me, and I can help you out. The first three are pics of the wiring, the last two are the actual mounting- those are the ones that will probably interest you.
