CLUTCH,CLUTCH,CLUTCH - 6G Celicas Forums
Lay off the all caps. It's annoying.
And I would suggest Clutch Masters. I love my stage one kit that I got from them. >

coom:
Do you get any clutch chatter with that Stage 1 CM? I am going to have about 270 h.p. at the flywheel when I am finished and I am leaning away from the OEM but I want the OEM feel and no noise. Extra clamping force would be nice but not really a necessity to me. The only other criteria for me is longevity. So far, I am debating between CM stage 1, CM stage 3, Spec Stage 1, Spec Stage 2, and OEM. Act and all others are out. Oh yea, 3sgte and E-153.
Jay.

QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
never go with ACT, I have driven a swapped celi with an ACT stage 1 and the clutch pedal was hard, and not easy to manage, alot of people say its hard to feel when the ACT is engaged so you end up dropping out the clutch.
I have a clutchmaster stage 1 with my swap, it feels great, although I now wish I would have gone with a stage 3.

My CM FX300 feels like stock... >

So I'm thinking about getting a lightweight flywheel as well.
Makes sense to do it all at the same time.
So I'm looking to get a new one in the next couple of months, my choices:
Flywheel Choices:
CM Lightened Flywheel or CC Lightweight Aluminium Flywheel ?
Clucth Choices:
CM Performance Clutch Kit - Stage 3;
CC STREET Series Clutch;
EXEDY Stage 2;
CENTERFORCE Dual Friction.
I'm leaning towards CM Performance Clutch Kit - Stage 3 and CM Lightened Flywheel.
(But $900-1000 + shipping....ouch!)
