there really isn't a kit. swapping a toyota engine is difficult b/c like nissan, you have to extend the wiring harness to fit the LHD US cars. it's a difficult job, but doable, but if you do the work, expect your car to be down for several months if you've never done a swap before.

no, get a clip, you will be sourcing parts till you are blue in the face if you get an engine set.

that depends - kevin sane?? do you have a GT or an ST? cuz if you have a GT then you dont need the front cliip.. its actually kinda pointless it will just cost you more for stuff you dont need... if you have a ST then you kinda need the front clip. and be sure that if you get the clip that it comes with the axle cuz the ST's need it.

other wise all you need to do this swap in the GT is just the motor, the wiring harness and the ECU.

but like it was said before the wiring harness is a Bish!

edit: as for where I got mine - I got it from a guy in canada that deals with JDM motors. He usally just deals with honda and mitsu but gets toyota motors evey once and a while. I talk to him periodically so I will let you know If he gets nemore in other wise I would just look online for JDM 3sgte's there not too hard to fine nowadays

99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =)
doesn't toysport sell conversion kits?
toysport sells conversion packages.. ecu harness and motor.
but toysport is still mad expensive.... you might as well get a clip.
try jarco, japan direct, nippon motors, or others. shop for best price on what you need. but safest possible way is a clip even though its the most expensive. he can sell the mr2 parts and get money back... mr2 tranny and axels sell like bottled water on mr2 forums.......

Well I have a 94 GT....so let's say i buy the clip...from toysport...should i expect to buy alot of other parts?....will it exceed the 4,000 bucks that they post on the site?
I have a 94 Gt too - considering the Burien turbo, but i just have too much mileage, so im probably going to go with the 3sgte. Its either get a domestic engine, from the MR2, or go with the JDM from the GT4. MR2 engine is basically the same thing, except u dont need an extra long harness, but the JDM is slightly more powerful, also slightly more illegal.
Kits on Toysport start at 2500, i checked with them a few days ago.
