i just put some cheap supertech oil treatment from walmart in my 157k mile ST. That stuff is thick as syrup! I decided to try it because i have been using lots of oil. I dont have any smoke and its not leaking but its all going somewhere >
> Well after i put that stuff in i noticed the engine runs alot smoother and feels like alot of the slop is being cushined by the thick oil treatment. I have only put a few hundred miles on the new oil so i have yet to see if it slowed down my oil consumption.

I use Lucas oil treatment. Several mechanics have told me its the best and it seems to work well. Occasionally I use seafoam green as well, but thats more for fuel injectors.

Is it possible to damage your engine using any of these?
