is this car legal to drive in the us? If not, what would I need to do to get it authorized and how much would that cost?? any ideas?? i am thinking about bidding on it.

I bet that car was drivin down to hell and back just from the look of it, and it probably isn't legal and costs a pretty penny to get it legalized, other than that I would love to own that fine piece of toyota technology >>

All hype? There even better than the hype. Skylines are the best import cars you can get, the engines have amazing capablities and the computers in them are even more amazing especially the newer Skylines. You can make tons of engine adjustments right from in the dash computer,not to mention G force meter. Not every Skyline is great, only the GT-Rs, there are some Skylines that are just fairly mundane like the korny one in Fast and the Furious: wasn't a GT-R. I'd still take it though...You could argue that there are better imports, but none are better that come out of Japan. I don't know what your talking about man, I'd like to know what you would rather have?

Did you know that a stock gtr tops out at 113mph (limited of course) but thats pretty crappy considering read up on them there are quite a few cars that will out perform a skyline (im not trying to bash them or get bashed so please dont take what i said personally)

Skylines are not the best import you can buy.
Supra's are.

fyi.... the fastest (top speed) is the Blitz Supra
with the 3sgte as powerplant. this lightweight
combination put out 220+ mph without race gas.

220 isnt the fastest supra there is a guy down here in dallas that has a supra and he does 212 mph wthout nos and the last time i talked to him there was still quite a few things he could upgrade to make it even faster

I think Skylines top out higher than 113...
