Chilton's manual would be handy. I got mine done in about an hour. It's kinda cramped though, and you can't really see what you're doing.
Well my dad did mine cuz i had to work.. Easy as hell tho.. just get some room in there.. unbolt the old 1.. bolt up the new 1.. Good stuff >tongue.gif> Good luck bro
It can go two ways, depending on wether or not its dropped. If your still at stock height then put it on a lift and/or jack and it'll be a 30min job at the most. Everything is easily reached from under the car. In my case it happened after I lowered the car and installed my kit. So it took me about half a day of laying atop my engine to get it done, it was hard to reach and I had to use a angled socket wrench, which is fun all in itself. All said and done its not a hard thing to do.

i just replaced mine this weekend. it was very easy. first disconect the battery(10mm socket). after that you will need to take out the two bolts holding it in place. for the one you will need a 14mm wrench and the other you will need a swivel socket also 14mm. one bolt is facing the drivers side fender the other on is facing the opposite way. use the wrench for the one facing the drivers side and the swivel of the other side. make sure you have a good grip on it before you take the second bolt out. after its out twist it around so you can see where the wires attach. its a good idea toy have a 12mm socket handy cause theres not really anwhere to set it down without stretchign the wires. use the 12mm socket to disconnect the one wire and the other should just be a clip. after that just do thouse steps backwards and you will be done in no time. it wook me about an hour to do because i cant get under the car because of the kit and springs and i also had the gf standing there asking what every damn part and wire was and what it did. good luck doing it if you need more info let me know
Me and a friend did mine a couple of weeks ago. Its not to hard, just tricky to get to. nicksceli's on the ball. I did it just like that.
Thanks for the help guys. I am doing mine tomorrow morn. I will let you know how everything turns out.

Done >biggrin.gif> It was a bit tough getting to ( I did half from the top and half from under ). I did have one problem though, I took the old one out and bolted the new one in. Then I tried to reconnect the electrical connection ( male/female connector ) and it didn't fit. The male connector on the new starter was too wide >frown.gif> so after a few choice words I then had to take the new one out and put a jumper wire with new male/female connectors that fit properly.

now it is 100% done.

BTW I got the starter from alternator starter express site for $104.95

thanks everyone for the info >biggrin.gif>
