Well then if thats the case I need my speedometer fixed but I know what I saw on it.

ive hit 133, so i think 140 is feasable

Last year, in a 1990 gt-s, my friend (i was sitting beside him) drove at least 100 km in 30 min., that means 125 mph, so no matter the speedo, we drove that speed. The speedo actually showed 190 km/h..well 119 mph.
People around here says a 94 celica is pretty fast on top speed, faster than my ex-vr6 i took to 147 mph....I'll have my car in a few weeks and I,ll check this out, cause it's hard to beleive so.....
A friend of mine said he got past by a 6th gen celica while he was rolling 140 mph in a saab. True or not ???

my fuel cut cam in when the speedo read 115. the rpm was at ~4200 and it was still goin when the cut came on.

btw i have an auto st with just an intake. at that time i had about 300lbs of extra crap in my car(50lbs in 2 backpacks and a 250lb friend not including 200 for me)

when i am alone in the car, it is much faster on top end. i hit 100 before i even notice it and and the last 15mph doesnt take too much longer to get.

oh and for the past week the sheriffs department in my city parked one of those radar trailer things on my street and from passing it many times a day, i can tell you my speedo is 100% acurate

i'm actually a noob here cuz my eg6 got stolen but when my wife was tellin me that when she bought the car in 94 she got it up to 140.....so I guess It is feasable cuz my wife don't lie.. >> >> it's a 94 gt

Well, I said that because an X of mine had a Paseo that would say 140 down the hill to her house. But I didn't believe a super econo car would do it. BUT, hey, it says it so brag to hell. I'm not about to try it on my tires to see though >>
