My $15 dollar Invader rear end - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #12575 9 posts Started by Andason
Ok, so I got this off of a member here for 120 (105 shipping and 15 product) because it was just sitting in his garage (thanks Kdash) and the only thing is that its dirty and has a crack in it.

Any suggestions on fixing? Im going to use fiberglass and bondo for sure, I'm just wondering how I should go about it because of its place.

cut the opening and put in fiberglass mat, then fiberglass resin(hardener) over it. put as many coats of fiberglss over it as u want, then bondo then sand and prine and ya done,, very easy but if you dont want it il be glad to pay u 15 bux for it lol
yea looks to be a pretty easy fix....good find...shame the shipping was so much
unless you have the piece thats missing it's gonna be a little tricky to get perfect. i would suggest making a mold of the same spot from another ibumper like that then make the piece you need to fill the hole from the mold out of fiberglass and then fiberglass it in place. thats the easiest way i could think of but you need access to another invader rear to do it.
