the 5sfe will be sold for around 800$. the engine has been taken care of very well with mobil1 oild changes every 3,000miles.

Lagos. I looked into the phantom grip and actually downloaded a bunch of information from their website. Its good info and I believe its a pretty good product. I know they have a model available for 5th gens but when I looked a while back they did not have a 6th gen version. You would have to actually mail them some parts for them to match everything right. I think Clayton from celica.net has one but I am not sure. I opted for the MR2 E-153 conversion for that and longevity reasons. Good luck man. I kinda feel like we are going through all these stages together. >> My new suspension and subframe connectors go on this week...

Bottom line is that someone ought to check before ordering. If you go to the product order section of their website, it says they have an application for an 87-92 Toyota GTS. I am presuming this is a celica gts and not a corolla gts. There is no application for a 94-99 celica.

Awesome!! Make sure you keep us posted throughout the swap, are you doing it yourself or having a shop do it for you?
Looks like that clip has been left outside.. like most of them are. Lots of the importers over here just leave them stacked up on racks outside, many of em without bonnets/hooods which kinda pisses me off!! Should scrub up nicely though. GL.

lagos...unless you plan on upping hte boost a intercooler core of about 20x6-8x3 is perfect >>

Thats great that you got a clip. Hopefully i can see it next Philly meet since my car should be set for next time. Where are you getting it installed or are you doing it yourself??

Phantomgrip...i just talked to someone that said he saw a phantom grip explode inside of an eclipse...so thats kind of making me not want to get one anymore.
Burien claims they can get me a toyota one for 900$ and a 2month wait....seems a little steep.
intrecooler... i plan on turning up the boost to around 15psi, so i need a cooler that can handle that. would 20x6-8x3 still be the way to go? where to i get the piping from to hook this up?
