I have a 96 25th anniversary edition. #179. I wonder how many were made that year?

What differences does the anniversary edition have compared to the normal Celica? I've only seen a couple of these on the road.

I don't think they have much difference. Maybe just the stock side skirts. And they are numbered. Maybe someone else knows more.
alright...here are the differences, at least ones that I have seen. I have different (gunmetal) badges all around the car. I have 2 limited edition badges above the front wheels, I have a strut brace, I have an emblem underneith the rearview mirror, I have different floormats, and I have a color scheme that can only be found in less than 100 different places.
Mine isn't an anniversary edition, it is a 1997 limited edition.

Anniversary and Limited Edition designations were basically a marketing gimmick. Not trying to be mean, just realistic. >

ive got a 95 St special edition the only thing different is the sticket on the door side that says "celica special edition" well thats what it said before i repainted the car
mine also came with celica floor mats and seats that are multi-colored, and clear bumper lenses. I dunno, maybe there is more. It also has the celica dragon on both sides.

dont take this as me trying to be a smart ass but the Celica
logo isn't a dragon, it's a Swan. I think the idea of
the name was to describe the cars beauty and elegance
with that of the bird, just thought you should know,

i like the interior on the anniversary editions.
well there is a web site about the celica symbol, and it says it is a dragon, so looks like they are wrong, or maybe you are wrong!
Mmmmmmmm!
May go with that, I understand Celica (Sel i Ka )
means heavenly/ celestial , don't know if its true or not
and its been said that it also represents the name for a small pocket size warship, either way a dragon is more macho than a swan eh......,
