Hi All,

I have been looking quite regularly at these forums ever since i bought my first ever celica about 3 month ago (had a 94 VTi civic hatchback before), and finally decided to register and make my first post today.

I must say when i was buying the car (which was a fresh import from japan at the time), i had no idea about the 'importance' of the model, but after doing some research i was pleased to find out that its an SS2 with a 3SGE engine that i have, which is one of the better models out there.

Anyway, i just wanted to make my first post to you guys and just see what people think. Like i said i am new to celicas (and toyotas for that matter), so if there is anything i should watch out for, any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

Also i have just managed to stick up two pictures, so that you can see what i am talking about.

Thanks,
Mush.

The car looks really nice. Did it come with all of those modifications, or have you done those yourself?

thanks for all the replies people. the car came with prety much all the modifications as standard. the only real thing i had to do was to get the front two shocks replaced, and a full service. all n all cost me around 5000 - 4k for the car and 1k for all the work that it needed.
i hope the 3sge i am gonna order shortly will be a 3rd gen 3sge, instead of a 2nd gen. but i guess i can deal with only 130whp or so...nice car by the way! welcome to this place!
