Just wonder if Coomer has thought about making stickers. If there has already been a topic of discussion on this I apologize. Ive just gotten back to where I read and post regularly.

Ive had celica.net stickers for a long time, I took them off tho, too big for my taste. Ive been a member of Celica.net for close to 2 years. I just dont post on any forums much like I used too. Too busy trying to get my degree.

Very true, I still dont post over there much anymore. I like the electrical/audio forum over there tho, those guys are very knowledgable about that stuff. But over all I dont care for the forums, 7th gen owners over there think they rule the freakin world. >

True, they definitely do think that..someone should tell them their car looks like it ran into a brick wall at 50 MPH...anyway..
PimpCat is the greatest..he helped me out so much..the Audio forum is really good over there..only better than here cuz there are tons of members...

WERD!
Well if someone comes up with a design i can go by local shop and see how much they would cost and give you an esimate.
Back in december there was a big discussion about creating a sticker, and a lot of good ideas were posted. Unfortunately no one design was decided on.
Being a proud member of this site, I thought I'd take matters into my own hands, create a sticker based on my favourite posted design - then if an official sticker was made, I could replace my homemade one with it.
To make a short story long and boring, I spent many hours in photoshop etc trying to recreate the design and still couldn't get it exactly right, so following Homer Simpson's advice, I gave up because it was too hard and decided to adjust to original design to suit my poor design skills.
Before you get to the designs I recreated, I want to state that these are based on one of gh0st_d0g's designs and as such all credit belongs to him. If anyone is offended by these or gh0st_d0g is not happy with them please let me know and I'll remove them, delete them and never mention them again. Once again: gh0st_d0g created the orignal design, I simply copied, coloured and slightly adjusted them a little. gh0st_d0g=talented, Me=too much time on hands.
Here is the forum link where the orignal designs first appeared:
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?act=ST...&f=3&t=79&st=20
Alrighty, if you're still reading you're probably thinking (just post the d*mn pics already >
> ) so here they are. The first one shows how it would look on a black background, the second one is a transparent gif, so people can save it and paste it onto different coloured backgrounds to see how it would look.
Any suggestions, modifications, hate mail all greatfully accepted >
> If anyone wants the original photoshop file so that they can adjust the pics themselves - I'll happily send it.
Anyway, enough talk:

I really like the design but when u have a 2 tone color scheme it will clash with some peoples cars. Maybe we could make them in all silver and white.. Just a suggestion but neophile good work and cant wait to see the final design!

Hey, thanks for the suggestion - that's a very good point >
>. Having a white 6gc it hadn't occured to me since most colours go with it (probably the only benefit of white paint >
>), but you're right - it could easily clash with other colours.
I really like the idea of a silver and white colour scheme, I'll have a play and see what I can come up with.

I think a pure silver sticker would look best since silver seems to go with anything.
yeah just silver and just white goes best IMHO...i have the silver celica.net sticker on right now and it looks so good...id love to swap it for a 6gc.net sticker tho
silver and white match with everything
silver and white match with everything
A friend of mine does vinyl graphics and all kinds of commercial logo stuff.....he made this sweet window logo for his company about 5" by 2" that was made from this metallic looking stuff, it looked really awesome, but i might be able to have a few 6gc stickers made from a design that doggy put on a previous post about making a sticker......i think his would look best in this material. I'll see what my friend mike says about making some for us, maybe i could get a few made up as an example >

Hell, I wish my Dad wouldn't have gotten canned from his old job. They had a huge vinyl cutting machine setup and he made stripes for my car at one time, as well as some other decals I have eventually taken off. That was awesome, and free. Grrrr!

the thing with the sticker you guy are making, looks like you're trying to copy celica.net. we should try a different look.
If you try to make the sticker too WOW then it's gonna cost hella $$$ to produce.
my dad does vinyl.... hes got this wicked cool vinyl, it looks exactly like etched glass. a slivery white... but it looks like it is in the glass. ill see if i can get a pic when i get put of school.

I'm trying to finda place that will do more of a plain type decal temporarily for relatively cheap. I think there's a place that will do it for me for a good price.

you know what...this topic has been on here for way too long...my best friend's dad owns a trophy store...and he can get a guy to do vinyl for pretty cheap...
i like a design that doggy made a while ago.....i think i saved it somewhere...i can get it
anyways..i can find out from him, see if you guys like the same design that I like...charge maybe $6...$1 for s/h
something like that.....whattay guys think?
Before anything goes into production we need to have a serious vote on at least 3-4 different designs and colors and the winner gets made and no special orders that way it's easier to get made and sent out.
Ok, i just found my old ideas of a 6gc sticker, so check them out again i tell me what you think:

Hey I dont have an idea for a sticker or anything but when you guys finally make a decision and start making some vinyl 6gc decals let me know because I am definitley interested!
Hey doGGy, you had another idea that was perfect IMO(kinda square lettering with a boxy car outline behind it), i dont know if you have it anymore, but i have a photoshopped copy that i ruined. If you could post that one again, that would be great >

you should just produce something simple in silver & white, goes best with everything >
