im gonna be putting a solobaric in my cousins firebird proberly a 10 or 12 inch... what kind of amp would be good for those (preferbly kicker) how much wattage ... thanks
give us the link to the sub you are wanting to buy, there are a lot of factors involved with choosing an amp.
thats a broad range - I would suggest buying an amp that puts out about 50 rms lower than the rating on the subs, at the same ohms.
if it were me i would go no lower than a 600.1 on the solo. most of the 600 are birthed at over 750. if anyhting put a 1200.1 on it and then the gains and bass boost wont hardly have to be turned up. i have an old ZR240 that i have running my single 12 solo. it runs 600 at 2 ohms at 14 volts. its pently for the sub. also is it ported or sealed. hope that helps if not pay not attention to it.

solobaric L7's? I'm running a hiphonics 1500W to my 10's and the gain at about 75%, works ok the kicker amps are better though, the have a lower amperage draw for the same amount of power. so to answer your question a single ten should handle a 750W amp with the gain turned down a touch.
I have the KX600.1 on my 10" SL7

I have two MTX 1501D thunder, one for each 12" solobaric l7

1500.1 for each one.

I have to turn the bass all the way down, and midrange and setting all the way down, with very little gain >biggrin.gif>
